What does it mean to ride SMART?

Say no to drinking and riding

Make yourself more visible to motorists

Always wear a helmet when riding

Ride in control (legal and personal limits)

Train regularly and get endorsed

While accidents vary, national studies continue to show two-thirds of motorcycle accidents come as a result of the motorcyclist.
While riding is fun it is a skill, a skill that requires ongoing training and development.

Ride Smart Florida ,  a non-profit organization, supported by the Florida Department of Transportation, that provides valuable and up-to-date safety information for riders. They also provide free marketing supplies for groups (including agents) who wish to promote better and safer riding. We encourage you to support Ride Smart Florida any way you can.
